Day 15
Record: 22-23
We quit watching the Rockets-Lakers Game 6 after the third quarter and we should’ve quit earlier. That Houston crowd was catatonic and they had every right to be. The Rockets don’t really run pick-and-roll or anything resembling cogent offensive strategy. They hand the ball to Alperen Sengün and then let him do his nasty footwork before throwing up an unbalanced shot or desperately passing out to a shooter who has no idea what to expect. God that was so bad. Rockets need to trade Sengün and Reed Sheppard this summer. Keep saying that. Reed is a shooter who misses wide-open shots and also lightly contested shots. If Ime Udoka hates him, that relationship is irreversibly broken and Reed won’t have the small chance of succeeding that he previously had. Really, this Rockets team is so gross.
CELTICS 🍀 (-7.5) over Sixers 🔔
- Yes, I know that Game 7’s historically are close games but I want the Sixers to win this so I’m picking the Celtics to bomb them out with threes. Even though the Celtics typically do not play well at home and Jayson Tatum might not play. Real sucker logic, but I just can’t imagine the Sixers winning this series.
